Chat with a selected persona in a dedicated conversation
Persona Conversations let you chat directly with one selected persona. This is useful when you want a consistent voice, role, or workflow across a full conversation.
Start a Persona Conversation
- Select the down arrow next to New.
- Choose New Persona Conversation.
- Select the persona you want to use.
- Start chatting.
How Persona Conversations Work
- The selected persona is applied for the full conversation.
- The persona prompt is included with each turn.
- Your active system prompt and enabled add-ons still apply.
This gives you a reliable persona-first chat flow for tasks like role-based support, planning, writing, or coaching.

- Build focused personas in Persona Studio for better results.
- Use System Prompt Modes to control how persona and system instructions combine.
- Use Crew Conversations when you need multiple personas in one chat.
